Wedding Flowers???????

I get married next June %26amp; want to start organising the flowers for the day,but I'm un-sure who it is I have to have flowers for, obviously me %26amp; bridesmaids, but un-sure of family %26amp; guests! Any help would be very appreciated, thanks.

Wedding Flowers???????
I had to work to a budget, I had flowers for me, a smaller version of mine for chief bridesmaid, the youngest bridesmaid had a fairy wand with a rose and some ribbon. corsage for nan's and mum's, fancy button holes for dad's, groom and ushers then i had a single flower button hole for the guests but that last one is personal choice as some people get the guests to buy there own. big floral table decoration for the top table then small for the others. big bouquets for the mums at the end
Reply:usually you,and your maids, and then groom and groomsmen then moms (corsage), dad (boutonnieres) , grandparent's, sometimes they give corsages to the readers too.

Basically anyone who is important to you that you want
Reply:I think it depends on how much your budget is.

I recently got married and we got flowers for me and the 6 bridesmaids, A special button hole for my Hubby, botton holes for the ushers and Fathers, and then two different button holes for the mothers to match their outfits.

Then each set of parents paid for button holes for their side of the family.
Reply:this is what the best man pays for ?bouquet for bride bridesmaids flower girls?button hole for father of the bride groom best man ushers?corsages for the 2 mums and what we did was a posy for Granny's and aunts that were not able to attend?I know it goes on but you will be glad you did and after all if they cant manage it will be less to cater for hope all goes well

Reply:look in wedding books,

Its your wedding and its you that decides what you want, the florist will keep you right...you decide if your having a traditional wedding or more modern.

I suggest books wedding sites and florists.

Its also good to get friendly with as many local florists as you can.... Ask them then the have weddings and if they mind you popping in to see displays made up.thias can give you ideas and to make sure they are good. Also if you build up a good re pour with them you may get discount.

Its your wedding and i can honestly say the best part is all the organising, my hubby and i had the country tortured but we had great fun doing it, long lunches out to discuss and look at things.

make the most of it, you will be paying enough for it.

Good luck. also what colour your bridesmaids in different flowers suit different colours.
Reply:....flowers aren't that important really...it ur love for the guy/girl/whatever that ur marrying that counts!!!

but it would be nice to have a single flower for each guest so they can keep it as a momento fot the day!!!

i like lilies theyr pretty and symbolise lurv ....... :)

Reply:Button holes for father of the bride, best man and ushers, corsages for the mothers and maybe a couple of bouquets for the moms as a nice gesture.
Reply:family and guests get teir own flowers made. wat date in june you gettin married........im gettin married in june too!!

omg were gettin married on same day! ahhhhhh!!!
Reply:Hi

Although it may have been tradition to provide a flower for each guest who would be attending for the whole day these day's anything goes. If you wanted to cater for the main guests and attendants this could include groom, best man, ushers, page boy, parents and grandparents of the bride and groom. Many female guests might prefer to organise their own corsage to match their outfit anyway.

It's really down to your preferences and your budget though.

For a guide to other wedding flowers that you might like to consider the list on the link may help.
Reply:You need flowers for the following:

1) Bridal bouquet

2) bouquets for each bridesmaid/maid of honor

3) boutiners for each groomsman and a larger boutiner for the groom

4) a flower corsage for each mother and grandmother

5) large flower bouquets as decoration for the reception

6) smaller ones for each table at the reception (obviously this depends on how you plan to decorate for your reception....some brides just put candles in the middle of the table)

7) you'll need flowers if you're going to use them as decoration on the wedding cake

8) think ahead if you want flower petals thrown as you and your hubby leave the reception....some people do bubbles, bird seed and other stuff.

Also, you'll need to think ahead if you want flowers decorating the church or venue where you're getting married.
Reply:traditionally, bouquets for u, and bridesmaids, coursages for mother of the bride and mother in law, bouteniers for the all the grooms side of the bridal party. u can have coursages made for close friends and family if u want. then if u have a reception u will need center pieces for guest tables, and decrations for the head table. if u want roses it will cost more than other flowers so have a budget planned. ans talk to some local florists.
Reply:ask ur local florest
Reply:i just went to a wedding on sat and the bride had ordered everyone a rose flower with a sparkly pin to pin to their jackets...everyone loved them so you could do that...me? im going to order flowers for me and the bridesmaid and button holes for my bf and his bestman
