Jewish Flowers?

Is there a specific flower traditionally associated with the Jewish or the Russian-Jewish nationality or faith?

My nephew and his fiance have asked me to design and paint their Ketubah. I am incorporating several images including flowers that symbolize their ancesteral backgrounds. She is Russian/Jewish.

Have combed the Net but can't find anything specific. Have also emailed several rabbies but nothing has come of that.

Please help!

Jewish Flowers?
In several prayers and songs roses are mentioned.

Another possibility would be almond blossoms.
Reply:This is a very simple question to answer. The Zohar opens up with the likening of the Jewish people to a 13 petalled rose. Throughout Judaism the 13 petalled rose is symbolic of the Jewish people. Take it from this Jew in the know.
Reply:Figs are traditionally associated with Jews and have ceremonial significance. The Ficus tree is a non fruit bearing fig tree and the branches of the ficus can be used to the same effect.
