Looking for colorful flowers that will stay in bloom spring through fall and only require morning sun?

My cat loved to walk through the flowers in our garden and smell them. She is now buried between 2 pine trees in our yard. The area only receives sun morning to just before noon. I would like to plant colorful flowers on her grave that will bloom from spring to first frost. Can you suggest some flowers that I might plant there?

Dahlias are great. They come back year after year and they'll bloom all summer. Take a closer look at some of the pics.

Reply:Impatiens would do well, as would begonias. Plant a few ferns and hostas as well.
Reply:Coriopsis is the one of the best plants I know of for what you are looking for. This bushy plant is valued for its long blooming period and they are drought-tolerant. I has small daisy like flowers and require little care.
Reply:marigolds, cosmos,geraniums
Reply:I would plant some bright Impatiens. They like a little sun,but do need plenty of water. I use to have a cat (Felicia)that would walk through my Impatien and Hosta garden and smell them, and I didn't think they had a very strong smell, but a cats sense of smell must be much stronger. Impatiens bloom profusely until frost.
Reply:I think begonias can do.
