What flowers are perennials?

I want to get my mother some perennial flowers for mothers day so we can plant them outside and they will come back next year. What are some nice flowers that I could get her?

Reply:Dianthus,candy tuft and alysium which smells wonderfull are just a few perennials that are easily grown and maintained. You could also try hyacinth which is grown from a bulb.
