Flowers and Attendant dresses??

My fiance's two daughters (14 and 11) are standing with him at our wedding along with my best friend and my borther standing with me. We are letting his daughters pick their dresses and then I will pick one for my best friend(she isn't picky and doesn't care). Do you think it best for me to pick my flowers and then give them a list of 3 or 4 colors they can choose from when picking the dresses or the other way around where I let them pick the dresses and then pick flowers that match with the dresses they pick? I am going to have a multicolored bouquet anyway so I can make it work either way, just wondering which you think would be easier...

Flowers and Attendant dresses??
Since you're having the multicolored bouquet and you don't seem concerned with what color their dresses will be, let them choose the colors.

This is, of course, assuming you trust their judgment. Otherwise, choose the colors for them.
Reply:I agree. Are you going to wait to pick out your friends dress so she matches the girls?
Reply:pick dresses then work w/ flowers. I suggest sterling silver roses
Reply:Young girls (age 14 and 11) don't always have a sense of what is appropriate dress. If I were you, I would accompany them when they go dress shopping (so they don't pick out a black strapless dress and spike heels for your beach wedding - LOL). It would also be nice if all the ladies wore dresses of the same length. Sending wishes your way for a sunny day with no wind.
Reply:I think that you should let them pick, it will help them feel included in the wedding plans.

My only concern would be the season. If you are having it in the spring or summer I think letting them choose would be great! If it is in the fall then maybe you could let them pick, by just eliminating a few colors instead of choosing a few.

Hope I helped and congrats!!
