Reply:Silk flowers are yucky. Unless the budget absolutely can not accommodate it, always go for fresh, real flowers. You can get plenty of ideas from sites like www.theknot.com, www.theweddingchannel.com, www.getmarried.com and www.brides.com.
Reply:Their will be Lilac's in bloom soon, for the purple, and their is another flower which I do not know the name off hand, it is white with greenish tint to it it is very lovely, you can go to a florist and check out their flowers, i don't know where you live but NY, LA lots of big cities have flower markets you can go to and they would be less expensive or a place like Costco or BJ's have beautiful flowers. Let me know how you make out . Good luck...
Reply:Green flowers:

Bells of Ireland

Green Envy Zinnia

Kermit Button Mums

Green Hydrangeas

Purple flowers: tons!

There are some purple calla lilies, daisies, etc.

A good tool for her to do would be to join theknot.com and browse their flowers by color section. They will have some more options.
Reply:afloral.com and save-on-crafts.com both sell silk

they are very realistic looking if you look around for them. some are still cheap looking depending on the flower and where you get them from.

i did all my flowers in silk and they are awesome. you really can't tell they are silk unless you are up on them.

green flowers are difficult to come by, unless they are dyed that way, she might want to try shades of purple in her bouquet, touches of cream flowers, with greenery.

maybe throw in some organza ribbon in purple and green to accent the bouquets.

try bbcrafts.com for that.

here are a few pics

This is a website someone gave me last week. She is very affordable. The colors for my wedding are blue and silver. She is going to send me a sample through mail. Just tell your friend to email her and she will send you a link to her ebay store. She has a lot beautiful flowers on her website, even purple and green. She will not be disappointed. I'm not. Good luck!
Reply:try silk ones, that way she can keep the bouquet for a Long time, and they come in all sorts of shades and shapes.

Else, lavender is nice.
Reply:green flowers: hydrangeas, green orchids, roses, carnations or even just green leaves look good.

purple: roses, tulips, irises, lilacs, calla lillies, orchids, etc.
