hey chucky, personally, flowers dont matter to me (i'm a girl by the way..lol)...i have a boyfriend, we've been together for abt 5 months now...and i havent gotten flowers from him...to me it really doesnt matter...however, women out there will appreciate the thought and the romance that comes with it...if you feel like you should give her flowers on the first date, then go for it....or you could give her something else like chocolate....that could mean quite a lot too...as long as you express how you feel abt her to her...so she knows, then you dont need flowers to show her...show her you love her through your own ways...dont be like other guys and give flowers...it can get really boring sometimes...lol...so go after your girl, and show her how you feel through your actions...and not through flowers...but if you find out that she likes flowers, then maybe it would be nice to give her flowers...but otherwise...its entirely up to you!! wish you all the best!!!!

If you want to give flowers anyway, why not purchase a live plant in a nice planter, with soil and everything, and with a blooming flower.... It's ALIVE and will last longer............

Bring three flowers on a first date as a compliment. Three is a magical number. Also note that on the first date, too many is over powering. Be discreet and simply as you can.

That's a little too much a little too soon. Maybe just one flower, but not a bouquet. And don't ever buy flowers to get out of trouble. Flowers just because it's friday are nice though
